The Google Analytics Validator is a Google Sheets add-on. It lets you build a spreadsheet of all the accounts, properties, and views you have access to in Google Analytics.
Then, you can select any number of these properties to populate a second sheet, where each Custom Dimension configured in the property is displayed with its name, scope, and active status.
- Hierarchy: Fetch your GA Account hierarchy by selecting the "1. Build Google Analytics hierarchy" menu item. Select rows in the hierarchy by adding "x" or "X" in the final, empty column.
- Custom Dimension Name: Fetch Custom Dimension name, scope, and active status for the selected rows by selecting the "2. Run validator" menu item.
